PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

· This is an entry level assembly position.

· Must be capable of understanding routing steps and familiar with standard assembly practices and procedures.

· Must have the ability to assemble and test items under supervision.

· Must be able to Clean, Paint and Box without supervision.

· Will be responsible for the Quality of items produced or tested.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES

Education:

H.S. Diploma or GED.

1-3 year’s experience within a manufacturing environment preferred

Other Essential Experience/Skills:

· Lean manufacturing knowledge helpful but not required.

· Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures.

· Self-starter, organized, thorough and meticulous, able to work under pressure.

· Experience in a technical environment is preferable

· Good communication skills.

· Able to plan work and commit to meeting deadlines.

· Dedicated to high degree of accuracy.

· Physical and Environmental Requirements: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and/or sit. The employee is occasionally required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Employee must be able to see and hear visual and audible communication. Must be able to read and color coded specifications, prints, and diagrams.

· Work environment includes front-office and manufacturing. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
